To provide medical, public health and family welfare services to the
public irrespective of caste, creed, religion and sex, at reasonable
rates and free to the deserving.
To establish, conduct and manage the Sane Guruji Hospital at
Hadapsar and such other hospitals at other places when and where
possible.
To impart education in different system of medicines, public health,
organise courses and hold examination and issue certificates and
diplomas therein.
To educate the masses in health, hygiene and nutrition by alround
suitable methods and ways.
To undertake research in medicines, public health and family welfare
planning problems concerned with rural development.
To establish, control, direct, take over, conduct, supervise,
develop, manage and/or assist or join in establishment, control,
direction, development and management of dispensaries, schools
institution and bodies for giving or imparting any kind of education
training in all branches of medical profession or science.
To work for agricultural and economic development, social cultural
uplift and welfare of the people especially in rural areas and do
such other things as would promote the betterment of the peoples,
health and co-operate with similar activities.
To promote rural water supply, sanitation, low income housing,
village roads, establishment of reading rooms, Libraries and other
constructive work for comprehensive rural uplift and amelioration of
conditions in rural areas.
To promote and advance rural development in such as may be thought
fit, including the encouragement and formation of training centres,
service units etc. for the development of agriculture in all its
aspects by the application of modern technique.
To impart vocational or professional training in rural sanitation,
medical and social work, agriculture, cottage and small scale
industries, crafts, technical and electronics.
To conduct schools for pre-primary (Balwadis), Primary and Secondary
education wherever such facilities are not available.
The MAM has its main object, the undertaking of any
programme of rural development, including any programme for
promoting the social, economic welfare of or the uplift of the
public in any rural areas and the funds of Maharashtra Arogya Mandal
would be utilised for the above object.
To promote child welfare by establishing and maintaining home/homes
for orphane and destitutes.
